I ordered 3 of this product and they all have expiration dates that are two years out from the purchase date. They all arrived very clean and properly sealed. The pills are very small; I can't imagine anyone having a problem swallowing them.
For those on the fence about D2 vs D3 like I was before purchasing this product, here is a useful presentation by the head of the Vitamin D Counsel showing that vegan Vitamin D2 is just as effective as animal derived Vitamin D3:
