(More customer reviews)Grapefruit seed extract is a multi-purpose wonder. With the liquid, you can make just about anything better with it. Use it diluted in water to have a multipurpose disinfectant. Use this in place of Mr. Clean! It's great to wash produce. It's great when you want to disinfect a wound. When you go camping and you're not sure if the stream water has parasites, add a drop or two, wait 10 minutes, and drink with a clear conscience. Use it when you make home-made lotion, toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, etc. as it acts as natural preservation.
They recommend adding a few drops to 5oz of liquid and drinking this daily. I prefer adding it to juice because it covers up much of the bitter taste. Never, ever, use it straight up.
I only have the liquid and don't have much experience with the tablets. The liquid is not watery at all. It has the consistency of maple syrup because most of it is vegetable glycerin, which is syrupy in consistency.
This particular brand is satisfactory, but I would use it just for cleaning, only because it's not organically grown. For human consumption I would use Nutribiotic - Gse Liquid Concentrate, 4 fl oz liquid. It comes in liquid and tablet form.
