(More customer reviews)My grandmother suffers from RLS, as did my mother. I've never seen a doctor about it, but I have some symptoms of what my grandmother calls the "jimmy legs" (which she got from an episode of Seinfeld); namely, I can't stop tossing and turning, which prevents me from falling asleep. I've been managing it for several years with nightly doses of magnesium, calcium, and zinc supplements, but it doesn't always work and often wears off before I can get to sleep. I decided to try a free sample of Restful Legs and, though I really wanted it to work, it had the opposite effect on me that it was supposed to. I took it shortly before going to bed and at first it made my left leg slightly numb and I felt relaxed--until I actually climbed into bed. The numbness continued, but the familiar urge to move my legs returned. I also felt much more alert than usual (not a good thing when you're trying to get to sleep) and felt my heart began to race. Maybe this was just a first-time reaction, but I think I'll go back to to my magnesium to be on the safe side.
I'm not saying this will happen to you; I seem to be the only reviewer to have experienced this reaction so far...just wanted to put this out there if you're like me and things sometimes affect you inversely to how they're supposed to.
