Euphorbium is one thing that really does work for me. Any time I get a scratchy throat or a hint of nose problems I start using Sinusin (its new name). Within a day I usually feel better and the dreaded cold never shows up. It's been years since I had a cold, the kind that has me down. I have no idea whether this works for everyone or not, but it does for my wife and me.
