(More customer reviews)These do not have any of that "soy protein" taste in them. Also, they are a nice change to actually taste sort of like a chewy chocolate chip granola bar. They have a pretty strong taste to them, but they go down quickly and are good. The only problem I have is that the nutritional info in the picture is different from what my wrapper says.
My wrapper looks just like the picture on the box except:
protein = 10 g
sugar = 1 g
and only 3 g net carbs
So the net carbs went up and the protein content went down? I thought at first that maybe the size of the bar changed, but it doesn't make sense to have more carbs and less protein. Just for your info, the rest of the package says:
calories 140
fat cal 60
fat 6 g
sat fat 3 g
trans fat 0 g
carbs 16 g
dietary fiber 6 g
sugars 1 g
sugar alcohols 6 g
protein 10 g
So, something changed. But they are good. :) I have not tried them before so I don't know if the taste is different.
