(More customer reviews)I've used this Nordic Natural product for about 1 1/2 yrs. I can't swallow most Fish Oil caps and frankly, I'm really dubious about the origin of the fish oil as well as production methodology of many popular brands (most in capsule form). This product is very pleasant tasting. NO fishy odor nor fishy taste. It has a pleasant lemon scent and the oil is about the consistency of virgin olive oil. It's very concentrated so you only need 5cc - 10cc per day. The next best lemony flavored fish oil is Carlson's but the second bottle I tried wasn't as pleasant tasting as the first so I switched to this brand. (both un-opened Carlson bottles had the same expiration date about 3 yrs hence). I have purchased both via Amazon and the local vitamin store (they sometimes match the best price). As a health professional (Internist, retired) I have counseled many patients to supplement the diet with a good quality fish oil for its many benefits to one's health. I also have recommended Mag Citrate Complex as our diets frequently do not contain enough Magnesium due to leaching from the soil. Magnesium oxide doesn't absorb readily. Leg cramps greatly benefit from this supplement. You can get both here on Amazon. Add 81mg Brand name aspirin and 1000 units of Vit D3 along with Calcium from various sources and that is all a healthy body needs for maintenance. There is NO credible scientific evidence that any of the myriad of other supplements are of any value except to the manufacturer or distributor (-s). BTW, this lemony flavored fish oil makes a terrific garnish on chicken, fish, salads. A bit of garlic spray and a tsp of this oil makes for a tasty dressing. Generic aspirin, ibuprofen, and acetaminofen are ALL made in India or China and we all have heard too many horror stories about their production methods, I'm sorry to say. Stick to Brands made in 1st world countries, folks! Yes, you will pay a bit more but it's not worth the risk. (Even baby formula was found contaminated, intentionally, with a toxin known to be harmful but also to fool the protein analyzer).
