(More customer reviews)I had a condition known as venous insufficiency resulting is much edema in my legs. Diuretics ineffective; elevating legs a bit helpful. I read about the horse chestnut tree seed extract in the health section of NYTimes and with doctor's okay (he had never heard of it) I tried and within a week, the swelling greatly diminished. I have continued to take these capsules - 1200 mg over two days -and my legs are skinny! The only caveat: if I take a capsule with breakfast, I am nauseous for about half-to-one hour, so I just take them at night. I have told probably six physicians about this and none knew of it, but each carefully noted it in writing.
