When I was traveling recently, I didn't have access to my usual tea brewing supplies, so I used the teabags the conference center had on hand. They were Numi bags, and I'd never tried Numi before. I was definitely pleasantly surprised. Numi's Gen Mai Cha bags brew a smooth and flavorful cup, with a strong toasty/nutty flavor. I enjoy a stronger toasted flavor; those who prefer a lighter touch may wish to look elsewhere. For a teabag, though, this is some darned fine tea, and I will surely be purchasing some for my own use.
