(More customer reviews)I have severe anemia. I had severe stomach pains on slow acting Iron Fe and could not take it, even cutting a slow acting pill in half resulted in severe stomach pain. When my physician prescribed Ferrous Gluconate, a different form of iron, I was skeptical. I was so happy to find it caused no stomach problems and was so quickly absorbed by my system that within a day many of my anemia symptoms began to fade. Since this brand is natural, it does not have as many potential ingredients to cause reactions to, such as yeast, sugar or gluten. if you have trouble with standard over the counter iron's available on the shelves at most markets, try tis instead. Note: some pharmacy's also carry it behind the counter.
