(More customer reviews)First off, let me say that many people, especially in the medical community, say that St. John's Wort has no affect on your mood. However, several of my psychiatrists have warned me not to take this supplement as it may trigger a manic episode in my bipolar cycles. When challenged with this conflict, not one of them would admit that this works, but they all still warned me against taking them.
I generally spend my time on the 'down' cycle despite taking enough medications to fill a river barge. Over the years (12) it has been a constant series of med increases and changes and increases and changes, and none of it has solved my 'down' feeling.
This product has finally made me feel good. I've been taking three capsules a day for about a month and a half, and I'm actually getting up in the morning looking forward to the day, and laughing at TV shows, something that I haven't done for some time. I have several bottles of straight St. John's Wort, and I've tried many brands over the years, but this is the only formula that seems to have really made a difference. I've tried to save money buying drugstore brands, but that was definitely a mistake. I wish I would have run across this product a long time ago.
