(More customer reviews)A couple of months ago, I ordered the Wild Cherry flavor of the Smith Brothers line. I loved it and when I saw the Black Licorice flavor, I decided to try that also. Actually the "Black" part of the name is a bit of a misnomer. If you hold it up to a bright light, you'll see that it's actually dark green. Nevertheless, the licorice flavor tastes authentic and I am pleased with it. I am glad they offer both flavors to appeal to whatever your taste is. If you like sweet, go for the Wild Cherry. If you like a more bitter taste, try the Licorice. The original Black Licorice flavor has been around since the 1840's. The Wild Cherry flavor was added about 100 years later- the 1940's. To be around this long, they've got to be good!
