(More customer reviews)I ordered this product for the genistein. It takes a significant amount of genistein to produce desired effects. This product has a lot of soy protein extract for the amount of genistein. So, there is an upper limit to the dose.
Side effects: I noticed that at a higher dose, my face felt warm and became somewhat red. My body temperature also increased by a degree Fahrenheit.
Conclusion: Don't take more than the recommended dose of this product if you notice side effects. I ordered another genistein product from Life Extensions, which is more pure and has less side effects.
Note: I also read that genistein should not taken if you are pregnant or think that you may become pregnant.
