(More customer reviews)I research long and hard for something to take for my hypothyroidism that I know have after Graves Disease treatment other than Synthroid (T4) because I have never felt good since the day my endocrinologist started me on it. Actually I haven't felt good for years since I started the thyroid disease battle. Despite trying different levels of Synthroid I kept getting worse, and they just completely ignored all the things I told them and my symptoms. They told me to see a psych doctor...#@!*$%^!!.
Almost two years later, here I am with bone loss and degenerative joint disease from taking Synthroid. In January I started having to use a cane to walk. I had missed work too much for being sick in the last two years. I was always tired, weak, in pain, and kept gaining weight. But that TSH test told them I was normal. I am an extremely health food person and realized they were full of $@#%^@!! and it was the Synthroid medication that was making me worse. I know what I am suppose to feel like and look like. So I fired the endo doctor, kept my primary care physician, insisted that I be put on non-generic Cytomel (T3) and did my own search for something else to WORK!
Amour was too complicated to get and I was desperate. I found a forum where someone mentioned Standard Process Thytrophin PMG and I found it on Amazon. After taking it for a few days I began to feel so much better. I started with 1 pill twice a day. Now I take it 2 twice a day and I am feeling FABULOUS and am looking better too!
There are many negative endo doctors and people out on thyroid forums who believe only the doctor recommended Synthroid or the generic pill is best, no matter how awful it makes you feel and how many side effects and health issues it brings on. I finally realized the power of the pharmaceutical companies and their fraudulent claims and choose the healthy route.
This product is awesome for my thyroid! Now I just have to find something healthy for my Synthroid damaged joints.
