(More customer reviews)I'll start by saying that I have no idea if these, or any vitamins I've ever taken, are doing me any good. I don't feel different from taking them. It's just something I do "just in case" it has some effect and lowers my risk of something. Of what, I don't know, but I take them anyway.
Having said that, these are the best vitamins I've used. The placebo effect is enhanced by the wonderful aroma of all the organic botanicals that go into this. Can 4 mg per day of tumeric make a difference in your life? I doubt it, but it makes these vitamins seem like something more than the usual medicinal smelling stuff from the big pharma companies.
What might actually make a real, honest, difference is the fact that these vitamins are probiotic, which I understand means that they are derived from biological sources such that a complex of nutrients are also included which makes your body more readily use the vitamin. This makes sense, as we did not evolve to consume vitamins in isolation, and apparently there is good evidence that one benefits more from vitamins consumed in actual food that those isolated in pills. Supposedly, probiotic vitamins are a step towards the former. If this is true, then it most definitely justifies the roughly $0.35 cost of each pill. Of course, I have no way of knowing. As I said, I don't feel any different after taking these for almost a month than I did before. But I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. And I do enjoy the smell.
