But it also appears that EVERY company selling these BCAA supplements is playing the same game. What I want to see is this: How many milligrams per pill/capsule/caplet, how many pills per bottle, and what's the breakdown of leucine/isoleucine/valine. What I really want to know in this last item is if it's the 2:1:1 ratio.
This product by Dymatize also plays the shell game on the actual cost of BCAA by listing only serving size information so it's really hard to tell what you're paying. So now that I have the bottle in hand, here's the scoop: Each pill (or count) is actually 600 mg of BCAA's and it is indeed the 2:1:1 ratio. So if you buy the 400 count bottle, the price, as of 7/18/11 comes to about $0.06/600 mg caplet. That's a very good price as far as I can tell (other's sell 500 mg caplets at $0.09 each). And I like the fact that it says it's timed release (although who knows what that means since the dosage game they play is so deceptive). It seams to me that Dymatize might be selling a very competitive product but it's hard to know for certain since they and other's hide the information us consumers really want to see.
