(More customer reviews)I started giving this to my kids when my newborn twins were taken to a cranial sacral therapist. One of the twins had acid reflux and the therapist thought this would be better than the medication prescribed by the doctor. I asked their doctors if it was okay to give newborns, and he said absolutely! Actually I meant to buy a regular probiotic so all of my kiddos (I have 5 beautiful cherubs!), my hubby and I could take it. I bought regular capsules for myself, my husband, and our oldest child. The younger 4 children loved these chewables though! They still ask for them every time we open the fridge (you do not need to keep them in the fridge, but we do just to keep them fresher).
Just so you know, we were told that you really cant overdo probiotics (ask your own doctor of course!). Anything left with be eliminated in the toilet (or diaper). Our babies were getting 4billion cfu's twice daily. Their acid reflux cleared up - we never had to refill their rx for acid reflux medication. Now they are 2 and take these chewables daily along with their older siblings.
