(More customer reviews)Brewers Yeast seems to be a great way for me to get my 'B' Vitamins. I need a lot of B Vitamins, and yet I also don't absorb them very well. It's not known if I have carpal tunnel or if my other neurological problems are to blame, but I have less pain and my hands go to sleep a lot less when taking it. I was mixing Brewers Yeast in water and trying to just 'suck it up', but oh my goodness, the taste, was it ever awful! I held my nose and try to suck it down as fast as I could, but then of course there was the period of time afterwards of doing the 'shudders' and the constant burping up just so I can experience it more. I tried it with juices, milk, chocolate milk (That was a VERY bad idea! What was I thinking?), just about everything I could think of to try to cover up the smell and taste.
I have a lot of health problems and often have to take antibiotics, so I take Brewers Yeast, it has Saccharomyces boulardii (Sb). I also take probiotics and yogurt to try to restore my gut flora. Now Brewer's Yeast is great, I take it with each meal with no fuss, nasty taste or re-experiencing for hours!
